How to Find a Submissive Woman (You Are Looking for the Wrong One)

For about eleven years, men have asked me some version of the same question. Piper, how do I find a woman like you? And I have to tell them the truth, which is not what they want to hear: you are looking for the wrong woman.

You are looking for the finished product. And the finished product was never going to be yours.

The masterpiece already has an owner

When men picture a submissive woman, they picture Scarlett Johansson, or Sydney Sweeney, or whichever girl on Instagram made them stop scrolling. Beautiful, polished, sensual, already glowing. I understand the pull. I am a woman and it does something to me too.

But here is what you are actually looking at.

"These women have already been sculpted. They already had masters. You're seeing the finished product." — Marian

She got there because someone else did the work. Someone was patient with her, honest with her, rough with her when she needed it, and built her into the masterpiece you are staring at. So when you walk up and tell her she is beautiful, you are the hundredth man to do that this week, and none of it moves her.

"If she does exist, she's not yours. She's somebody else's." — Marian

A finished painting does not leave the gallery for a new artist. Why would a finished woman?

What I actually looked like

I did not start as Piper Blush. When Master found me I was twenty-two, almost twenty-three, broke, living with roommates. I barely wore makeup. I did not know what to do with my hair. I was a tomboy, so shy I could not look people in the eye, and talking about myself was painful.

"Master built me to be this way, and we did it together as a team." — Marian

That is the part the Instagram fantasy hides. The woman you admire was raw material once, and somebody chose her for her potential, not her polish. I wanted to be all those graceful, feminine women I saw in movies. I just had no idea how. What I had was the wanting, and a man who knew how to build.

Look for potential, not polish

So if you genuinely want to be a master, you have to retrain your eye. Stop looking at the women who get the whistles. Start looking at the ones with something underneath.

"Start looking at librarians. Start looking at the women who work at Starbucks as baristas." — Marian

Look for the girl who is a little shy, a little awkward, who prefers books to a room full of people because the room still scares her. The one who, when you gently correct how she holds her fork at a nice restaurant, does not get defensive. She gets curious. She wants to improve. That openness is the raw material. That is your masterpiece before it is a masterpiece.

The trick is not finding the woman you want to sleep with. The trick is finding the woman who wants what you actually have to offer, your guidance, your skills, your wisdom, in exchange for her energy, her loyalty, her willingness to grow.

Or just admit you are a collector

And if none of that appeals to you, that is fine too. Maybe you do not want to do the work. Maybe you just want the already-made woman, the one with the nails and the fillers and the high maintenance and the higher standards. You can have that. You would just be a collector of beautiful things.

"Just like any collection, at one point it can get bought out by somebody else." — Marian

A Van Gogh locked in a safe stays put. A person does not. If you never built her, you have nothing holding her except the things you did together, and the day a better deal walks by, she is free to take it. Collecting is a real choice. Just do not confuse it with a master and submissive relationship, because it is the opposite of one.

This is not about sex, and it is definitely not about slavery. It is conscious submission, a partnership where two people sculpt each other into the couple they want to be. You build her, she builds you, and that is the glue that beats time. Master and I are almost eleven years in, and that is exactly how we got here.
