i went on a kink podcast and told the whole truth

i did something recently that i want to tell you about. i sat down with john from the authentically kinky podcast, a man who has interviewed legends of the kink community for over 350 episodes, and for 56 minutes i answered everything he asked me. the sugar website. the age gap. the ego. all of it.

you can listen to the whole episode on authentically kinky, and honestly, i think you should, because john is the kind of interviewer who makes you say things you didn't plan on saying.

where piper was born

he opens every show with five questions about firsts. when was piper blush born? i said 2015 officially, but really july 2017. that's when the first memories start, and i told him it's like being a baby, you don't remember being born, you remember the first moments that made you who you are. for me those memories are piper's.

and then he asked the question people are usually too polite to ask, which is the one worth answering. we met on a sugar daddy website, master and i. i said it plainly on the show and i'll say it plainly here, because i had one experience before master that felt transactional and i hated it, and what i was actually looking for was not that. i was looking for a mentor, a guide, security, someone established who had the life i wanted and the honesty to tell me the truth without sugarcoating it. he had all of it. i moved in almost right away, and we've been building everything together ever since, the love and the business, all of it at once.

is an age gap real? yes. i said that too. one person has more experience, more financial security, and pretending that's not a power difference would be a lie. but if it's the right person, that difference becomes growth. somebody taking care of you on the way to where you want to be. if your parents couldn't do that for you, and nobody else could either, it's a beautiful thing when your lover can.

killing the ego

john said something that stayed with me. he said i carry pride without ego, and asked how. i told him what master has told me from the beginning: you have to kill your ego. if you want to go anywhere in life, kill your ego. i'm still working on it every single day, because the ego is a real pain. but i don't want to be the model who thinks she's better than everyone. i want to be a muse. i want to spark creativity and eroticism in whoever is watching, and let master be the sculptor. that's the deal between us, and it's the deal that makes both of us happy.

we talked about whether piper and marian are different people. they used to be. i built piper as an idol for myself, the woman i wanted to become. and then i became her, and somewhere along the way piper folded back into marian. now it's all fused. the book, the podcast, whatever channel comes next, it's just me, and it's all of me.

the year and a half without a camera

writing why submissive women are happier took me a year and a half at a desk. i told john the truth about that too: i loved it and i hated it. not being in front of master's lens for that long was genuinely painful. i'll write more books one day, but the most comfortable i have ever been is doing what i do now, creating every day, being online, being the person you know me as.

the adventure i announced

and at the end i told him what's next. a road trip channel, filming every single day, back to the roots of how piper blush started, except this time on the road in our tesla model x with the cool doors. when we recorded the episode it had a very different working name, and it has since become what you now know as piper unplugged. the dream i said out loud on the show: making it all the way to alaska, even though i've heard the superchargers get thin up there. i said i was in need of an adventure, something completely out of the ordinary that still involves me doing content every single day. that's exactly what it turned out to be.

tomorrow is never guaranteed. john said every morning he wakes up is a happy accident, and i think master and i live by something close to that. we want to experience all of this while we still can.

the book is on my website and amazon. the episode is here. and if you see me in the street, please come say hi.
